Shop Small Saturday, Nov. 26th

posted in: Uncategorized | 0

Support your local small businesses for your holiday shopping!  We will have discounts on gift items, Happy Hour beer prices, and a book signing by Pete Dulin–whose newly published book, “Kansas City Beer” is a thorough and interesting history of brewing in our city.

According to Forbes, “the Saturday following Thanksgiving plays hide and seek between Black Friday and Cyber Monday, but easily stands on its own as one of the most important shopping days of the year. Founded six years ago in response to small business owners’ most pressing need – getting more customers during the busy holiday shopping season – Small Business Saturday has quickly earned its stripes among holiday traditions.”

American Express started this emphasis, and if you have their credit card you will earn 2X points on your purchases this day.

Year round, small businesses shape our communities and neighborhoods thanks to their unique charm, characteristics and one-of-a-kind personas, and it’s these attributions that help make Small Business Saturday even more important to support and celebrate.

To celebrate, Grain to Glass will have a customer appreciation party in the evening (6-10), with KC Raindogs performing again this year!
